CLOSER
A downloadable game
Closer is a horror endless runner where you see yourself in second person, watching your body running away from the psychosis itself that follows you. The only distance from you and the psychosis are the STEPS AHEAD of him you have. You can increase them by taking Adrenaline Syringes, filling up the Dependence bar: if you are too dependent from the drugs, you will fall in a Manic Episode.
"In a psychiatric hospital of 1950s, a patient born with paranoid psychosis wanders endless corridors, tormented by a monster that grows louder as his condition worsens. He refuses to believe in a cure, convinced he cannot be saved. Hallucinations stalk him relentlessly, twisting reality into a prison with no exit.
To survive he must keep moving, walking endlessly to stay ahead of the torment while dependence may push back the monster but also weigh down his body.
This is not a journey toward freedom, but a desperate attempt to outrun the mind itself, trapped in a place where escape only leads deeper inside.
Can you escape the monster avoiding to be reached out?"
